“I describe my work as designing architectural colour concepts because I am not interested in decorating space with colour, I am interested in a head-on interaction between colour and the built environment. This can be sensitively done, and it can also be violently done, the point is that colour has incredible agency to affect, to distort, to balance, to play with, and to renew buildings.”
